Crossover vehicles offer a certain level of versatility that’s difficult to find in other models. They take the best features found in an SUV and combine them with all of the things we like about sedans to create an adaptive vehicle that’s ready to handle whatever the road throws at it with striking performance. To help you decide which Crossover SUV is right for you, take a look at our comparison, which takes a look at the 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan vs 2016 Mazda CX-5. To learn more about both models, take a look at the chart below for more information. *Comparison uses Tiguan S trim FWD and CX-5 Sport trim, FWD   ** Results vary depending on vehicle and driving habits Comparing versatile crossovers In a competitive segment like the crossover, extra features go a long way. With the 2016 VW Tiguan, a wide selection of features comes at a reasonable price. Features that you’d normally expect from a higher trim, such as automatic headlights and rain sensing wipers, are found in the base model of the Tiguan. While the Tiguan may come at a higher price than the CX-5, you definitely know you’re getting your money’s worth in terms of technology and gadgets. And while the Mazda CX-5 may be capable of better fuel economy than the Tiguan, slightly lower fuel efficiency is to be expected from a vehicle that prioritizes a powerful, dynamic drive. When you compare the power and capability of the Tiguan to the CX-5, there’s really no comparison. With its impressive horsepower and torque capability, the Tiguan is able to reach higher speeds much more quickly than the Mazda CX-5. A lot of power and fast acceleration may not be the best at the gas pump, but it offers an exhilarating drive that can’t be beat. 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan at Speedcraft Volkswagen The Tiguan comes with a long list of standard features that take its drive to the next level, definitely making up for the difference in price. Some of the great features you can get include an 8-speaker stereo that blows the Mazda’s 4-speaker system out of the water. You can also opt for a leather interior for added comfort. Interested in the 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan? Take a look at the models available in our inventory. If you see one you like, let us know and we’ll schedule a test drive so you can experience its versatile drive and impressive performance in person.   Don’t see the model you’re looking for in our inventory?
