2019 Volkswagen Arteon to Replace CC – Preview

The all-new mid-size 2019 Volkswagen Arteon is considered the “spiritual successor” to Volkswagen’s Comfort Coupe, or CC, but it’s bolder, faster and roomier, and will be available in the fall. The experts at Speedcraft VW in Wakefield can answer any of your questions. “The Arteon combines the design elements of a traditional sports car with the elegance and space of a fastback,” says Klaus Bischoff, head of design for the Volkswagen brand. “It’s an avant-garde business class gran turismo that speaks to the heart and the head alike.” Already on sale in Europe, the new Arteon is built off the MQB architecture and includes a 268-horsepower, turbocharged 2-liter engine with a standard eight-speed automatic transmission and optional four-wheel drive. The Arteon has an extra 5 inches of length in the wheelbase. It's also longer and wider, with a roomier back seat than the CC. The combination of hatchback and folding rear seats give the Arteon ample cargo space. Search Speedcraft VW Inventory The standard model gets 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights and heated leather front seats. Standard features also include three-zone climate control, 8-inch touch screen that's compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. Drivers can use the adaptive-damping suspension to choose different suspension modes, from comfort to sport. Safety features include rearview camera, forward collision warning and autonomous emergency braking and blind spot monitor with rear traffic alert. Three trim levels are available. Higher trim lines offer a panoramic sunroof and a power hatch that opens with a kick of your foot. Contact your Speedcraft VW experts to learn more.
