Volkswagen Unveils Exciting Changes for 2025 Models

With the Atlas family and ID.4 receiving significant enhancements for 2024 and a refreshed lineup for 2025, Volkswagen’s range is fresher than ever. Plus, with an active Car-Net enrollment, most Volkswagen models will now offer an available voice assistant powered by ChatGPT. Select MY25 vehicles are expected to arrive in our showroom by September, with more models launching through early 2025.

Atlas & Atlas Cross Sport

After a major refresh in 2024, which included a sophisticated new interior and a refined turbocharged engine, the Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport midsize SUVs return for 2025. The Atlas family is available in five trims—SE, SE w/ Technology, Peak Edition SE w/ Technology, SEL, and SEL Premium R-Line—while the Atlas Cross Sport includes SE, SE w/ Technology, SEL, a brand-new SEL R-Line Black, and SEL Premium R-Line. The SEL R-Line Black trim boasts blackout details and 20-inch black aluminum-alloy wheels on the exterior, complemented by a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel and stainless-steel pedal caps inside.

New standard features for both models include 15W wireless charging and Light Assist on all trims. The SEL Premium R-Line trims offer advanced design and comfort features, such as headrest perforation, four-way lumbar support, and a massage function for the front seats. New colors like Mountain Lake Blue and Avocado Green (previously exclusive to the Atlas Peak Edition™) are available, along with Pure Grey for the Atlas outside the Peak Edition trim.

Golf GTI & Golf R

The beloved hot hatches, Golf GTI and Golf R, receive a facelift for 2025. The European versions of these models have already been showcased, with the U.S. versions to follow in early 2025. Stay tuned for more details as we approach their market introduction.

ID.4

Volkswagen’s all-electric ID.4 SUV saw significant upgrades in 2024, including a revised infotainment system, a new rear electric motor, and an improved range of up to an EPA-estimated 291 miles for the ID.4 Pro RWD model. For 2025, the ID.4 will be available in seven trims, featuring both 62-kWh and 82-kWh battery options. The models include Standard, Pro, AWD Pro, S, Pro S, AWD Pro S, and AWD Pro S Plus. Noteworthy additions include a standard 12.9-inch display with backlit sliders and ventilated front row seats for the S models with the 62-kWh battery. The S and S Plus models feature a Black Package with black mirror caps, door handles, badging, and 20-inch black aluminum-alloy wheels.

ID. Buzz

Making its debut for 2025, the ID. Buzz brings back the iconic Microbus, reimagined for the electric age. Available in Pro S, Pro S Plus, and a launch-only 1st Edition, with both RWD and 4Motion® AWD configurations, the U.S. version of the ID. Buzz offers three rows of seats for six or seven passengers. It features striking light signatures, a giant illuminated logo at the front, and a variety of color options, including two-tone paint schemes. Standard features include a 91-kWh battery, 20-inch wheels, a 12.9-inch infotainment system, 30-color ambient lighting, and Park Assist Plus. Optional features include captain’s chairs, an electrochromic panoramic glass roof, harman/kardon™ premium audio, a head-up display, a Flexboard cargo system, and an Area View camera.

Jetta & Jetta GLI

The entry models Jetta and Jetta GLI will receive updates for 2025, with the refreshed versions set to be unveiled in late Q2 2024.

Taos

Volkswagen’s compact SUV, the Taos, will undergo a major refresh for the 2025 model year. The updated Taos is planned for a reveal in late Q3 2024.

Tiguan

The compact Tiguan SUV enters its third generation as an all-new 2025 model. More details, including reveal timing, will be shared later this year.
