Key hardware improvements like revised piston rings, a larger intercooler, and a new gasoline particulate filter contribute to better fuel efficiency and a more refined ride.

For impressive fuel economy, the front-wheel-drive Taos achieves 28 MPG city and 36 MPG highway, while all-wheel-drive models deliver 25 MPG city and 32 MPG highway. The 4Motion® all-wheel-drive models now come with a conventional eight-speed automatic transmission, offering enhanced traction and stability.

Inside, the Taos has been updated with sleek styling and premium materials. The S model features two-tone black and grey cloth upholstery, while SE and SE Black trims offer CloudTex and cloth materials.
