Several features and accessories have been added to the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas to create the Weekend Edition. Volkswagen started everything off by using the 2018 Atlas SEL Premium trim level as a base. This model comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 276 horsepower. That power is sent to the wheels via Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel drive system.

To this base, Volkswagen added several great features. The exterior of the SUV odds 18-inch anthracite Prisma wheels and an Urban Loader cargo box. The cargo box offers 17.7 cubic feet of added storage space. Side steps have been added to make accessing the cargo box easier.

The interior of the Atlas Weekend Edition offers several upgrades as well. A special cargo divider has been added that is designed to serve as a pet-friendly barrier behind the second row.
2018 Volkswagen Atlas models will be arriving at dealerships everywhere in the Spring of 2017. Many of the accessories that have been added to the SUV to create the Weekend Edition will also be available at Volkswagen dealerships when the Atlas arrives.
