It even comes with the option for the Trailer Assist System, making hitching your trailer and parking quick and easy.

Performance for the 2016 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack
Drivers can rest easy knowing that all Passat Alltrack models come with 4MOTION all-wheel drive as a standard, which increases safety when driving on slippery surfaces. It also features an electronic stability program, keeping drivers even safer in the event of a loss of traction. With all of these safety features, the Alltrack can handle everything from bumpy roads to sand and gravel.
Under the hood of the new Passat Alltrack sits a 2.0-liter TDI BiTrubo engine that reaches up to 240 horsepower and 368.8 lb-ft of torque.

Am definitely interested in learning more about the TDI version of the Alltrack and when it might be available in the US.
Put me down for one! I drove the sedan version in Germany 6 months ago and it handled like a dream. I would love the sedan but would gladly take the wagon to get the all wheel drive and the bigger diesel! Hopefully they will upgrade some of the technology, like maybe HID/LED headlights?????

I’m in. Wagon, 4motion and Diesel. Add tech upgrades, i.e., better Nav then the junk in the present Passat and 100k standard warranty to match other manufacturers and you will have hit a grandslam!

The Passat Alltrack TDI is the perfect vehicle for New England. Hopefully VW will decide sell them in the States. The European version is fantastic.

We all want one – why doesn’t VW get it. They make diesel all wheel drive vehicles – that’s what sets them apart. Bring the good stuff over and we’ll buy it!
