Other improvements to Passat safety include the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert becoming available as a standard on the R-Line and SE trim levels. The SE model also adds KESSY keyless access with push-button start, an available Lighting Package. If you opt for the Technology model of the SE, the 2017 model will come with remote start, Parking Pilot, 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and LED headlights and tail lights.
